Last week we went with some friends to a kids' play area inside an electronics store- Riku is now getting old enough to properly enjoy some of the activities at these places- will be handy when it's raining or too hot to play outside now that he's getting more mobile (not walking yet though!) We had to be careful that the littlies didn't get run over by the bigger kids but for the first hour or so we had the place mostly to ourselves which was great.
There was a ball pool- last time Riku was in one of these he was only just learning to sit by himself!
He was very excited to see so many balls :)
And so was his friend R :D
A bit of static in here...
The red cheeks are because it was pretty cold outside but quite warm inside- he seems to have inherited skin that is very sensitive to temperature changes from me.
Next was the balloon room- there was a fan going in here so the balloons bounced around constantly- Riku has recently discovered balloons and loves them!
This was a kind of automated seesaw- Riku wasn't quite sure what he was supposed to do (actually neither was I).

Hehe! He is so cute! And that looks like loads of fun! I wouldn't know what to do with an electronic seesaw either ...
